Brief History: Gabrielle was born in ancient Greece in a small village known as Potidaea. When she was still fairly young she was engaged to a young man named Perticus, but before they could be wed a Warrior named Xena rescued their village from some goons who were trying to take all of them women away. After seeing Xena fight the way she did Gabrielle decided she wanted to be a warrior too. Little did she know this decision would change her life or lives depending on how you look at it. From that moment on they traveled together, and Xena became the person in her life that she trusted more than anyone else on Earth. This life lasted longer than most people thought it would, but soon enough she died. She was born many times over, and it seemed as though she would always find Xena in her new lives.
Recently Gabrielle was born as a young woman named Mattie Merrill; she lived many years never knowing who she had been in her past life. But recently she found Xena once again, and now that they are reunited Gabrielle is more in love with her than ever. Gabrielle is working as a New Age Psychologist, but it is not her true calling, and Xena knows that. Xena is always encouraging her to go back to telling stories, and fighting along side of her in whatever righteous fight they can find. Lately Gabrielle is finding she agrees with her more and more, and she has decided to cut back her hours at the office.
List of Abilities/Powers: Gabrielle doesn't have much in the way of powers, but she is an excellent fighter and speaker. She makes the perfect war, because she knows how to fight and and make peace. She is skilled with the Amazon fighting staff, and the sais as well as a plethora of other weapons she has learned from her best friend over the years. She is also gifted when it comes to telling her stories and during her time in Greece she was a traveling bard on occasion. She is also a skilled advice giver, and she is always willing to impart any wisdom she may have.
